On August 24, Yang Hua, deputy party secretary, director and general manager of Sinochem Group, investigated Sinochem Pharmaceutical and held a seminar on the investigation of Nanjing-based enterprises at Sinochem Pharmaceutical. Yang Shihao, member of the party group and deputy general manager of Sinochem, Zhang Zenggen, safety director of Sinochem, Zhang Xuegong, director of the Strategic Execution Department of Sinochem, Liu Hongsheng, party secretary and president of the Chemical Business Department, and Dong Jianhua, member of the Party Committee of the Chemical Business Department and executive director of Sinochem Pharmaceutical accompanied the investigation.
Yang Hua and his entourage first visited the Sinochem Pharmaceutical two-way logistic warehouse for medical equipment, inquired about the company’s medical equipment business operations, and inspected the operational procedures, inventory, and warehouse area safety of the medical equipment warehouse.
Afterwards, Dong Jianhua, member of the Party Committee of the Chemical Business Department and executive director of Sinochem Pharmaceutical, reported to Yang Hua and his entourage on the operation, key work progress and future development plans of Sinochem Pharmaceutical, with a focus on the company’s foothold in the pharmaceutical and health field, its reliance on the industrial resources from the group and the Chemical Business Department, and its strategic thinking of promoting the integration of research, production and marketing. The heads of Sinochem Petrochemical Sales Department of the East China Branch, Sinochem Petroleum Jiangsu Company, Sinochem Fertilizer Jiangsu Company, and Jinmao Nanjing Company took turns to give reports on the subject.
Yang Hua firstly affirmed the operating performance of Sinochem Pharmaceutical to a full extent. He pointed out that the pharmaceutical and health business has achieved contrarian growth under the unfavorable external environment, which is the result of the joint efforts of all employees, and hoped that everyone can continue to fight and maintain the growth trend; he also pointed out that the pharmaceutical and health business is in line with the Group's overall positioning for the development of life science and materials science. This path is correct and promising, which requires extensive and in-depth practice, exploration and pursuit.
At the meeting, Yang Hua also made a few suggestions. He asserted that the achievement from January to July was hard-won, and everyone should spare no effort and make more contributions to the performance for the rest of 2020. He called for the business development to take a high-quality, innovation-driven path, which calls for everyone to continuously invest in research and development, make full use of information technology, strengthen internal industrial resource coordination, and strive to build Sinochem into a comprehensive high-end chemical enterprise. Finally, Yang Hua reminded everyone that we must pay attention to health, safety, and environmental protection, and implement HSE through the system and culture to ensure the intrinsic safety of the enterprise.
